CHILDLINE Lucknow: Working as a collaborative organization for CHILDLINE, a project of Ministry of Women and Child Development , Government of India. It is a 24 hrs free , emergency telephone outreach service for the children in need of care and protection to provide them immediate Medical help, Shelter, Rescue from exploitation, Restoration, Emotional and Social Guidance.
National Child Labour Project: Ministry of Labour Government of India supported Special School for children engaged in hazardous industries, occupations and processes. HUM is manageing one such school for mainstreaming and rehabilitation of such children (rag pickers) at Lucknow.
All is well: A forum especially for children who are in stress due to problems in studies or with school. Free counseling is provided to children and their parents on issues related to their studies, choice of subjects, career and other related fields.
Campaign against Corporal Punishment in schools: HUM has a team of experts that conducts workshops and training programmes for teaching staff in schools about positive disciplining. Awareness camps are also organized against corporal punishment among teachers, children and parents.
Counseling to women and men on marital disputes and domestic violence: HUM provides free counseling and advice to women on the issues of marital disputes and in cases of domestic violence.
Environmental issues: HUM has worked and is working regularly to involve general public on environmental issues like rejecting polythene and using conventional cloth jholas or jute bags, conservation of water, awareness about rooftop water harvesting, planting trees for good environment , making environmental education more meaningful through actual practice by students, and schools. Parents. By means of rallies, dharnas, workshops and discussions environmental issues are raised time to time.
